Universal Life Insurance w/LTC

How the Group Universal Life Insurance works.

If you or a covered family member dies while your coverage is in force, the death benefit will be paid to your designated beneficiary. If you or your covered spouse survives to maturity and your coverage is in force, the net surrender value is paid to you and your coverage ends.

How the Accelerated Death Benefit for Long Term Care Rider works.

If you or a covered family member is certified by a physician as chronically ill, as defined in the rider, and receives qualified long-term care services, you can claim an advance of the death benefit as a monthly benefit after a 90-day elimination period, subject to the Pre-Existing Condition Limitation. The maximum monthly benefit is 4% of the death benefit.

Accident Insurance

An accident can wreak havoc on your savings if you are not prepared. Accident insurance through Allstate gives you a cushion to help cover medical expenses and living costs when you get hurt unexpectedly. Accident insurance can pay you a lump sum benefit for on- or off-the-job accidental injuries, plus some medical benefits.

Because accident insurance is supplemental, it works in addition to other insurance you may have such as medical insurance. You can use the policy to fill a gap left by your other coverage.

Critical Illness Insurance

No one is ever really prepared for a life-altering critical illness diagnosis. The whirlwind of appointments, tests, treatments and medications can add to your stress level.

Critical Illness coverage helps provide financial support as a lump sum benefit if you are diagnosed with a covered critical illness. With the expense of treatment often high, seeking the treatment you need could seem like a financial burden. When a diagnosis occurs, you need to be focused on getting better and taking control of your health, not stressing over financial worries.
